Kane and Lynch 2 Dog Days Review

The odd couple of gaming are back, this time in Shanghai. This time, you play as Lynch, so it really should have been Lynch and Kane but hey what do I know? Right at the start you will notice something, the camera following them, is an actual camera, following them. It looks like some crappy film camera that would be on the internet. I have no problem with it, it looks good and it doesn’t interfere with the combat, but all I can say is, why? Why is it there? …

Red Dead Redemption (360) Review

So Rockstar puts us into the wild West in their newest game title, Red Dead Redemption. It is set in the fictional American Old West territory and follows behind the eyes of John Marston, a former outlaw, who tries to save his wife and son, by capturing and killing his former gang members.
Red Dead Redemption’s plot goes out in saying that it’s set in the year 1911, John Marston is taken away from his wife Abigail and his son Jack by government agents, who tell him that they will be …

Alan Wake (360) Review

You’re Alan Wake, a famous best seller author. You’re currently having writer’s block and have not been able to write anything for two years, so you and your wife, Alice, take a vacation to Bright Falls. Bright Falls is a idyllic small-town, which is famous for its huge Deer Feast. You and your wife have rented a log cabin on a small island on Cauldron Lake. You only have one close friend, Barry, who is also your agent. You meet a lot of friendly people while heading to your cabin …

The Passing Review

The Passing was a new DLC for Left 4 Dead. It will star the characters from Left 4 Dead 1 but they are not playable. However, they play an important role in the story. Although, there was sadness in this reunion, for the rumors that one of the original cast members didn’t make it are true. I will write a poem for our fallen friend later.
The story is the four survivors are trying to get out of the zombie invasion (what else is new). It starts off as Eilis ogles …

Final Fantasy XIII (360) Review

First off, let me say that this was my first experience with a Final Fantasy game. Let me assume the readers out there, I was in for a fun and wild ride. Final Fantasy XIII (13) is an RPG developed and published by Square Enix. There have been thirteen installments of the Final Fantasy games… wait, what? Yeah, apparently there has been that many, wow. Before I picked up a copy of Final Fantasy XIII, I posted on the Xbox forums, in the Final Fantasy XIII topic, to see if …

Just Cause 2 (360) Review

A lot of fantastic game titles released recently and we’ve all been busy clocking in a lot of gaming time. So it’s been a while since I’ve made my last review, so I think it’s about time for one. This review is going to be all about the latest Just Cause installment, Just Cause 2. The first Just Cause was god-fully awful. I can assume you all, that Just Cause 2 has greatly and I mean greatly improved since it’s 2006 title. Just Cause 2 follows the black-ops exploits of …

God of War 3, The Godly Review

What if I said God Of War 3 was the worst game ever? I just felt a chill and a disturbance in the universe. God Of War 3 is the GREATEST GAME EVER! I know I say this a lot but it is awesome! It is impossible to give this game any thing below an 11/10.
What makes God Of War awesome? It has the best story line, best characters, best weapons, powers, the creators did their research on the time period, and that is the tip of the iceberg. Go …

Heavy Rain Chronicles, The Taxidermist review

This is worth getting. But, you can only get it if you  pre-order. Sorry, dumb-asses who didn’t pre-order the game. Finally released in the U.S., I can write a review. How ever this may be short, it still packs a punch. Or a stab, for those who played it. You play as Madison Page, investigating the Origami Killer who is believed to be Leland White, a, guess what? A taxidermist! Who knew? Anyway, can’t say much without ruining the story, but the game has the same game-play, and the same thrill ride that comes with …

Heavy Rain’s heavy review

Heavy rain wasn’t good, Nor was it decent — It was FREAKING AWESOME!!!! This PS3 exclusive is the best game ever! Oh, sorry, this isn’t a game. But a thrill ride of feelings and emotions. This game has you playing as four characters, searching for the origami killer. Ethan Mars, the father of the latest victim. Madison Page, a photographer. Scott Shelby, a private investigator. And Norman Jayden, a FBI agent. People who have never met, all searching for the origami killer. The game is choice- sensitive. Every decision impacts …

Bioshock 2: The shocking review

This is it. The big boys. The Call of Duty of single player. Bioshock 2. The shock. This is the game people have been waiting for since, well, the end of Bioshock 1. The game has been delayed 3 too many times, and now, we get to bask in its glory. The sequel to the hit 2007 game takes place 10 years after Jack arrived. This time, you play as a Big Daddy. And not just any Big Daddy, the Alpha Series. That is all I will say. The story in …
