Iron Man 2 (the movie) is to be released in North America on May 7, 2010 and most likely be followed up by the Iron Man 2 video game. In other news — a Iron Man 2 game trailer just released and it isn’t as hyped up as your normal “big” game trailer would be. Most likely if you didn’t enjoy the first Iron Man game, not sure if this one would be any different. Usually movie title games do not do so well than your normal average non movie …

This has me sold. Pure genius. An excellent launch trailer.
The game is set in fictional dystopian city Rapture in alternative history 1970, a decade after the events of BioShock. The protagonist and player-controlled character is a Big Daddy, a being that has had its organs and skin grafted into an atmospheric diving suit. Among the first of its kind, the player-controlled Big Daddy reactivates with no recollection of the past decade’s events, and scours the city in a vain attempt to relocate the Little Sister that he was paired with. …

With all this debate about “outmoded” tank controls versus shiny, new space engineer controls, everyone’s seem to have lost track of what keeps us crawling back to the Resident Evil franchise, sequel after sequel. Hint: it’s not the controls. It’s the incredible storytelling. For example, haven’t you been wondering how they’re going to wedge Wesker back in there? And of course our pals at Umbrella Corp have once again made a mess of things, all in pursuit of that almighty dollar. It’s the Resident Evil formula: some vaudevillian villains coupled …
